What is the Nursing Adjunct Faculty Registry?
The Nursing Adjunct Faculty Registry serves two purposes: 1) to simply and streamline the application process for nurses interested in teaching, and 2.) to improve access for local community colleges to the pool of qualified RN applicants. It’s a clear win-win. Applicants simply complete a streamlined curriculum and fill out only ONE application for multiple community colleges. The Nursing Adjunct Faculty Registry was created in partnership with local community college Human Resource Departments to ensure complete application information is collected and all unique college requirements are met. The local community college’s wanted to ensure each applicant had a baseline of preparation prior to being considered for a job as an RN adjunct faculty member. For this reason a customized “Adjunct Faculty Curriculum” was developed by Dr. Ruth Grendell, in which applicants are provided with necessary information required to be adequately equipped as RN adjunct faculty members. The “Adjunct Faculty Curriculum” was designed for the adult learner, as the curriculum is self paced and can be taken on-line or via a CD-ROM. Once you successfully complete the curriculum, you will be issued a certificate of completion.

Why was the Nursing Adjunct Faculty Registry created?
The Nursing Adjunct Faculty Registry was created to assist in finding qualified nursing educators for much needed adjunct faculty positions. Simplification, centralization, and certification of the applicants is the ultimate goal of the Nursing Adjunct Faculty Registry.
