About
the
Nursing
Adjunct
Faculty
Registry
The
Nursing
Adjunct
Faculty
Registry
serves
two
purposes:
1.)
To
simplify
and
streamline
the
application
process
for
nurses
interested
in
teaching.
2.)
To
improve
access
for
local
community
colleges
to
the
pool
of
qualified
RN
applicants.
| It
is
a
clear
‘win-win’
for
applicants
and
colleges.
Applicants
complete
a
streamlined
curriculum
and
fill
out
only
ONE
application
for
multiple
community
colleges.
The
Nursing
Adjunct
Faculty
Registry
was
created
in
partnership
with
local
community
college
Human
Resource
departments
to
ensure
complete
application
information
is
collected
and
all
unique
college
requirements
are
met.
|
| Without
this
registry,
you
would
have
to
fill
out
applications
at
each
and
every
site
you
apply
to?
That
can
be
up
to
FIVE
applications!
With
Adjunct
Faculty
Registry,
you
just
fill
out
ONE
(1)
application
and
you
are
done!
If
you
want
to
apply
to
another
school,
simply
add
them
to
your
college
list…no
need
to
reapply.

The
local
community
college’s
wanted
to
ensure
each
applicant
had
a
baseline
of
preparation
prior
to
being
considered
for
a
job
as
an
RN
adjunct
faculty
instructor.
For
this
reason
a
customized
“Adjunct
Faculty
Curriculum”
was
developed
by
Dr.
Ruth
Grendell,
in
which
applicants
are
provided
with
necessary
information
required
to
be
adequately
equipped
as
RN
adjunct
faculty.
The
“Adjunct
Faculty
Curriculum”
was
designed
for
the
adult
learner,
as
the
curriculum
is
self
paced
and
can
be
taken
on-line
or
via
CD-ROM.
Once
you
successfully
complete
the
curriculum,
you
will
be
issued
a
certificate
of
completion,
and
ready
to
become
part
of
the
nursing
faculty.
